Note about the Vanguard 2.0 finish: For the VANGUARD to achieve the level of performance Selkirk wanted, they used a natural carbon fiber. With the performance Quantum-CarbonFiber technology, there is the possibility of a few minor graphic imperfections on the paddle face. These minor imperfections do not affect the performance in any way. Selkirk tested other carbon fibers without these minor face imperfections, but their level of performance was inferior to the Quantum-CarbonFiber technology. Selkirk choose to use the technology with the highest level of performance because they believe it is what customers primarily care about.
Selkirk will not replace any VANGUARD paddles with these minor imperfections due to the performance Quantum-CarbonFiber they use.
